About

Hello,
Welcome to my Blog/ website.  Whether you are new to massage or have been receiving treatment for some time I hope you find this site easy to navigate, learn something of interest and enjoy your visit.

A little bit about me and what I do
Massage is an art in which I aim to release tension from the muscles, calm the mind and lose both my client and myself to the dance like flow of the strokes. It is the pulling together of the skills/techniques I have learnt, my intuition and thirteen years' experience so as to treat in a holistic and creative way.

I love my work It's a real honor to be able to work with so many different people of all ages and walks of lifeEvery client is unique and so the pressure, the strokes and the tempo are all adapted to suit different body types and requirements. The treatments I offer are often mixed and matched and the length of the session and how frequently they are needed are all dependent on the individuals needs.

I'm friendly, fully qualified, insured and belong to a professional body.  I undertake continual development in the form of courses and my own personal learning; and through my work continue to hone my skills and refine my touch so as to be the best therapist that I can for my clients.  Testimonials

I'm very fortunate to have a treatment room in my home and have put a lot of love into making it a warm, peaceful and welcoming space in which to have treatment.  Working from home allows me to create time around each session so clients feel listened to at the beginning and not rushed at the end.  It also enables me to offer high quality massage's at a more affordable price.  Pictures of the treatment room  Prices and Availability

I've always been drawn to a more holistic approach to health.  My first job at 16 was working in a small health shop It was here that I learnt all about nutrition, herbs and supplements; years later I returned to these roots and gained a diploma in nutritional therapy Although massage is what I do, having this additional knowledge has been invaluable in further helping clients achieve overall good health.

A regular yoga practise has taught me a lot about working with the body in terms of alignment and the correcting of muscle imbalances; and I feel this has definitely crossed over into my massage work and continues to make me a better therapist.  It's often nice to incorporate stretching into a massage session and I'll quite often recommend certain yoga poses for clients to practise in between sessions if I feel it would be of benefit.

It is my intention with every session to tune in, to you my client and give you a thoroughly enjoyable massage treatment that you'll want to return back to and enjoy time and time again.
